Gatineau: Microsoft's web analytic tool in beta soon

One more Microsoft hit. Some screenshots of Microsoft's web analytic tool, codenamed 'Gatineau' has leaked on the Internet. Dave Naylor has put it on the web after attending adChamps in London where he saw a demo of Gatineau there. Miscrosoft has planned to make an announcement soon. More explanation inside !



It is said Beta 1 of Gatineau will be launched by this summer and the beta version is a work-in-progress to adds more features and reports to the product. Microsoft is also inviting beta-tester to participate.

It has Age and Gender too
Beta 1 will include the ability to segment data by both age and gender buckets, so you can get more of an idea of what kind of visitors you have. Microsoft said they digs the data from users' Live ID (formerly known as Microsoft Passport) profiles. No personally Identifiable Information, such as name or e-mail address is involved in this product.
